Where drafts belong
I was thinking I should start putting my drafts in my Bear Blog dashboard.
Why? Well, for starters, I’ve got them scattered through Day One, Apple Notes, Drafts (the app) and probably some place else I can’t remember.
Those drafts are all over the place because maybe they’re not drafts yet, maybe they are just ideas, and maybe that’s why some of them are tagged as #ideas.
Now that I’m writing this, I think most of them are tagged with #drafts, which would imply they are not just ideas nor one sentence, they are something that I want to post but I don’t either because it’s too short (I opened a Mastodon account for these I guess) or they are not perfect.
So, whatever state they are, I think I should try to unify them. Their location I mean. Not necesarilly from an organization standpoint (although yes) but from an hey, here we are, work on us, post us, refine us, iterate on us standpoint.
Granted, I mostly write and read from my phone (I know) so that makes the task of opening Safari, a new tab, type bearblog.dev, locate this blog visually (it’s not my only blog), click the “Posts” link with my not so fat finger but in the end finger, click new in the little button (which I didn’t style yet and I know I can make bigger) and… well, even just typing that was exhausting, sorry about that.
It’s not that comfortable, you get it.
Moral of the story: I should solve my drafts situation. Shoot me an email if you have some advice. Thanks in advance.
